ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated and detail-oriented seamstress. The ideal candidate is a talented sewer that has a strong background in constructing garments from various fabrics.
YOU WILL
- Construct a variety of different items using industrial grade sewing machines
- Create high quality garments using the utmost care and precision
- Label garments with tagging as appropriate
- Use irons and other types of pressing equipment
- Contribute to other areas of production including cutting and pattern making
- Be organized, flexible and stick to deadlines
YOU ARE
- A quick learner that can work independently
- Proficient in the use of industrial sewing and overlock machines
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Able to prioritize to consistently meet deadlines
- A strong communicator, collaborator and problem solver
YOU HAVE
- 2+ years experience in production level cut and sew operations
- Ability to understand patterns and work orders
- Written and verbal fluency in English
- Own equipment is preferable, but it’s possible to use our equipment
