In August me and Karli went on a holiday to Latvia. Latvian coast is lined with beautiful empty sandy beaches, but unfortunately the sea is super cold. I was promised hot weather and a beach house, but boy, was everything different! 😀 #expectationsVSreality – lesson learned. Saulkrasti (‘the sun coast’) is a lovely little town some 50km away from Riga, where we retreated after staying in Saulkrasti proved a bit too hard to handle. Now I admire Latvians more, they’re tougher. I’m a princess from Petržalka, who needs her warmth in summer. Despite everything, it was a nice experience. Here’s a postcard from Saulkrasti…
