My Berlin guide is finally here! This August I celebrated 2 years since I moved to Berlin. Even though there are still million and one places I haven’t visited and things I haven’t experienced in Berlin, I feel pretty confident in giving first-visitors (even second- and third-) some great tips on what to do, eat, drink, where to party or shop 2nd hand, vintage and trödel (junk, trinkets, old furniture). Please, keep in mind that this is hardly a classic tourist guide, you won’t find many (more like NONE) common tourist attractions here. Also, there are parts of Berlin around which I like to move, which are mostly Kreuzberg, Neukölln and parts of the former east Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg, Mitte-East and Friedrichshain, where I live). That’s why my guide is limited to mainly tips located in these parts.

I love Berlin! There’s always something to do… Sometimes the FOMO feeling is incredibly overwhelming and I needed to learn how to say no to constant social calls and events (still haven’t mastered this skill tho). It’s a miracle one gets anything done around here. But the truth is, the longer one lives in Berlin, the easier it gets to focus and tune out the exciting happenings and the need to explore more, when needed. With this guide I hope to help you in your journey exploring Berlin and doing it like a local 🙂

The map is color-coded: things to dofleamarkets and 2nd handplaces to eatplaces to drinkcoffee placesclubs and parties. If you click on any of the markers you might find a little note with my comments and/or a link. ENJOY!

There’s plenty of other blogs/webs where you can find more tips. For example,

Or check out some tips which I prepared for Fashion Map in Czech language.
